Metropolitan Museum

Hello guys!! Last Monday I arrived to Spain after spending 3 unforgettable weeks in NYC. I’ve been a lot of days without writing anything because I’ve been visiting my relatives, friends… and sleeping hahaha. Well, I have a lot of photos to show you about New York, so let’s start with the Metropolitan Museum!! It has been my favorite one because it has a lot of things from ancient cultures and the atmospheres of each age are really good recreated. Of course, I couldn’t forget to tell you about the terrace!! It was amazing specially the views and the octagonal structure :)

¡¡Hola a todos desde tierras españolas!! El pasado lunes llegué a España después de haber pasado 3 semanas en NYC. He estado bastantes días sin escribir nada porque he estado visitando a familiares, amigos… y descansando jajaja. Bueno tengo muchísimas fotos atrasadas que os quiero enseñar de Nueva York, así que empecemos con el Metropolitan museum!! Ha sido el museo que más me ha gustado porque tiene muchos objetos antiguos y el ambiente de cada época está muy bien recreado. Por supuesto no puedo dejarme atrás la maravillosa terraza con sus vistas y la estructura ¡¡ Espero que os gusten las fotos!!!

Greenwich Village

Black&white were the colors of the outfit I wore the day we visited some places of the serie Sex and the city. First of all, we went to Carry Bradsow’s home :) and then we went to Magnolia bakery to take some delicious cupcake!! It has been the best ones I’ve ever tried!!! I also have to say that I love the environment of Greenwich Village district; there are a lot of beautiful houses, vintage shops, and quiet and clean streets. Of course I couldn’t come back without going to Marc Jacob’s store (I have to prepare a post in which I show you my new purchases). Finally, we had a walk throw the High Line; I would talk about it sooner ;)

Black&White fueron los colores del conjunto que llevaba el día que visitamos algunos lugares de la serie de Sexo en Nueva York. La primera parada fue en la casa de Carry Bradsow :) y después fuimos a Magnolia bakery para tomarnos unas magdalenitas!! Tengo que decir que han sido las mejores que he comido!!! También me encantó el ambiente de Greenwich Village; hay muchas casitas adosadas, tiendas vintage, y las calles son muy tranquilas y limpias. Y por supuesto no me podía volver sin haber pasado antes por la tienda de Marc Jacob (tengo que preparar una publicación para poder enseñaros mis últimas compras). Y para terminar la tarde, fuimos a pasear por el High Line; ya os contaré mas adelante ;)

MoMA

Good morning!!! I’ve forgotten to show you the pictures of the day we went to the MoMa museum, which have really interesting and original paint. The thing I love the most was the courtyard in which you can relax and take some photos in my case hahaha. Well, that day we also went to the beach on the morning but it started to rain so we came back to the residence, had a shower and went to visit this museum.  The outfit was simply and comfortable, mixing white, blue and yellow colors :D

¡¡Buenos días!! Había olvidado enseñaros el día que fuimos a hacer la visita al conocido museo MoMa, que tiene arte muy original e interesante, de todo el museo lo que más me gustó fue el patio en el que te podías relajar o hacer fotos en mi caso jajaj. Bueno, ese día por la mañana fuimos a la playa por la mañana pero empezó a llover así que volvimos a la residencia, nos dimos una ducha y de visita al museo. El conjunto que llevé es muy cómodo y sencillo, formado por los colores azul, blanco y amarillo :D

Beige look in NY

Hi!! Last Friday I went to the famous toy shop: FAO, maybe you remember it from the film ‘Big’, where appears the big piano!!! Well, I loved it!!!! There were a lot of lovely cuddly toys, sweets… it was like a paradise for children. Then, we tried some sweets… they were amazing!! (L) After it, we went for a walk around Upper East Side and we took some fantastic photos, it’s a really good place to live in. For the occasion, I wore a completely beige outfit, do you like the result?

¡Hola! Este viernes pasado fui a la famosa tienda de juguetes: FAO, quizás os suene más por la película `Big´, donde salía el famoso gran piano!!! Bueno me encantó! Hay un montón de peluches de todos los animales, chucherías… es un paraíso para los niños. Después, nos compramos algunas de las chuches para probarlas… uff estaban riquísimas!! (L) y para terminar estuvimos dando un paseo por Upper East Side, donde hicimos unas fotillos, es un sitio perfecto para vivir. Para la ocasión cree un conjunto beige, ¿qué os parece el resultado?

Madame Tussauds

Good morning!!! Last Tuesday I went to the Madame Tussauds museum, and I really enjoyed there hahaha it was so nice because the figures looked like real people :D I recommend you to visit it if you come to New York. After that I we went to Bryant park to take so pictures with the carousel but started to rain so we only could take some of them.

In the afternoon, we went to the Yankees Stadium!!! And I saw my first baseball match (Yankees vs. Texas), which was so funny because there were a lot of people so there was a great atmosphere :D Well guys, I have a lot of photos and things to show/ tell you so be tuned to the next post!!!

¡¡Buenos días!! El jueves pasado fuimos a visitar el museo de cera Madame Tussauds, y la verdad es que me encantó y me lo pase genial jajja porque las figuras estaban muy bien conseguidas y parecían que eran reales :D os lo recomiendo si venís a Nueva York ;) Después fuimos a Bryant park a dar una vuelta y a hacer algunas fotillos en el carrusel pero empezó a llover, así Por la tarde, fuimos al estadio de los Yankees!!! Y por primera vez fui a un partido de béisbol (Yankees vs. Texas), y me pareció muy divertido porque había un montón de gente y muy buen ambiente :D bueno chicos, tengo muchas fotos y cosas que enseñaros/contaros así que estad atentos!!!

Birthday day!!!!!!

Last Sunday, to celebrate my birthday we went to Central Park!!! It was the first time I went and it’s really big hahahahh but I love it because you can relax and spend the day in a green area in the middle of N.Y. We went for a walk around the entire park, and then we made a picnic in one its lawn J on the afternoon, we went to the big lake where my friends bought me a waffle and they sang the happy birthday song!! :D hahah really nice!!

Later, we went to have dinner to a typical American bar called: Ellen’s Standurts diner (it’s near Time Square, if you have the chance…go!). The burgers were delicious!!! And it was so funny because the waiters were singing while they were working and it’s popular because some of them are preparing to become actors for Broadway musicals! And they also sang me the happy birthday!! Hahahha a moment I’ve never forgotten!!!! :D I have to say that this year I had an amazing birthday day in NYC!!!! ;)

El sábado pasado, para celebrar mi cumpleaños fuimos a Central Park! Era la primera vez que íbamos y ufff es gigante!!! Jajajaja pero me gustó mucho porque puedes relajarte y desconectar a pesar de estar en medio de NY. Al principio fuimos paseando por todo el parque para verlo, y luego como buenos americanos nos sentamos en uno de sus céspedes a charlar… Por la tarde estuvimos en el gran lago donde mis amigos me compraron un gofre y me cantaron cumpleaños feliz J jajajja me encantó!!

Después, para cenar fuimos a un bar americano típico, que es todo un espectáculo, que se llama Ellen’s Standurts( esta muy cerca de Time Square, y si tenéis la oportunidad de ir, ni lo dudéis!!) . La comida estaba riqísima y era superdivertido!! Porque los camareros estaban cantando mientras estaban sirviendo… y es conocido porque alguno de ellos se está preparando para convertirse en cantante para los musicales de Broadway!! Y allí me cantaron otra vez Feliz cumpleaños!!! Ajajaj es un momento que nunca olvidaré!! :D Así que tengo que decir que este año en el día de mi cumpleaños me lo he pasado genial y ha sido totalmente distinto de los demás ;)

Pd: os tengo que enseñar los regalitos!!! :P

Happy birthday! :D

Today is my 19 birthday!!!! And I’m celebrating it in NYC, so one of my dreams has come true!! J These photos are from last Thursday, on the morning we went to Tiffany store in the 5^th Avenue, which was amazing!! It has 5 floors and the employers were so nice :) We went to buy some presents( I’ll show you soon hahaha) and I felt in love with the shop ;) If I could I would buy everything!!! Then we went for a walk for different brand shops in the 5^th Avenue, all of them were wonderful!! After that, we went to relax to Bryant Park, in which we assisted to a free concert, we really enjoyed it!! We spent our evening in Union Square and the surroundings, one of my favorite shop was the famous book shop: Barnes&Noble.

Today I’m going to be in Central Park with some friends, celebrating my birthday!! :D

¡¡Hoy es mi 19 cumpleaños!! Y lo voy a poder celebrar en NYC, así que, hoy, uno de mis sueños se ha hecho realidad!! :) Estas fotos son del jueves pasado, por la mañana estuvimos en la tienda de Tiffany de la 5ª avenida, que es impresionante!!! Tiene 5 plantas y los trabajadores fueron realmente encantadores. Hicimos algunas compras que os las enseñaré en breves :P me enamoré de la tienda!!! Si pudiese me compraría todo!!! Jajjajaja Después paseamos por la 5ª avenida para ver todas las tiendas de marca, que son alucinantes!! Más tarde, fuimos a relajarnos a Bryant Park, en el que vimos un concierto gratuito y nos lo pasamos muy bien :) Y por último, por la tarde estuvimos visitando Union Square y los alrededores, uno de los lugares que más me gusto fue la famosa librería: Barnes&Noble.

Hoy vamos a ir a Central Park para celebrar mi cumple con unos amigos! ;)

New York Citying

Hello guys!!! I’ve been some days without writing anything because I didn´t have too much time, so today I’m going to show you the photos of last Tuesday; what I did? We went to New York public library and to Grand Central Terminal (do you know it? It appears in many films, and the truth is that it’s so beautiful!!). Then, we went to Time Square!!! It’s amazing at night because there are a lot of lights and it’s seem to be 12a.m. Moreover, there was a Disney store in which we spent a lot of time because it’s so magic and I enjoyed like a little girl hahahha  you’re gonna see the pictures so I hope you like them and enjoy as much as I did :P

¡¡Hola chicos!! He estado unos días sin poder escribir nada porque por aquí no he parado, así que hoy os voy a enseñar las fotos del martes pasado; ¿qué hice? Pues bien, fuimos a la biblioteca pública de Nueva York y a Grand Central Terminal (¿os suena? Sale en un montón de películas, y la verdad es que es muy bonita). Después, fuimos a Time Square, es increíble de noche porque con todas las luces ¡¡no parece ni que sea de noche!! También, había una tienda de Disney en la que estuvimos mucho tiempo porque es como estar en cuento y me divertí como una niña pequeña jajaja estas son todas las fotos y espero que os diviertan tanto como lo hice yo :P

On the top of the Rock

Hi guys!! Yesterday we spent the morning on the student center because we’ve had to do some test, and then we had lessons so our tourist visit started at 5 pm: We went throw the 5^th Avenue until we arrived to Rockefeller center, where we spent the afternoon, especially in the Top of the rock… no words to describe the sensation!!! There were amazing views from Manhattan (I love the Central Park ones). Finally we had dinner: delicious burger and salad, this is all for today guys, I hope you enjoy the pictures J

¡¡Hola chicos!! Ayer pasamos toda la mañana en la academia de inglés porque hemos tenido que hacer unos exámenes de nivel, y luego hemos tenido clases así que nuestra visita turística ha empezado a las 5pm: hemos empezado desde la quinta avenida paseando hasta llegar a Rockefeller center, donde hemos pasado la tarde, concretamente en Top of the rock… no hay palabras para describir esa sensación de encontrarte en un rascacielos y tener unas vistas impresionantes de Manhattan ( la que más me han gustado son las de Central Park).Para terminar el día hemos cenado una deliciosa ensalada y hamburguesa americana, y esto es todo por hoy!!Espero que disfrutéis de las fotos J

First hours in New York

Hello from New York!! Today at 6 am I started my adventure: we took a flight from Malaga to New York. This has been my first time on flying such a big distance but it has gone very good J once we arrived here, we left the suitcases in the residence and we went for a walk (to feel the spirit from New York) around the 5^th Avenue, Broadway, Time Square and we went to the famous Macy’s . Then we had dinner: the typical hot dog and we came back to the residence to have a shower and rest. Here I left you my first feelings from N.Y, be tuned for tomorrow!!! :D

¡¡Hola a todos desde nueva York!! Hoy a las 6 de la mañana empezaba mi aventura: cogimos nuestro vuelo con origen Málaga, destino Nueva York. Es la primera vez que he hecho un vuelo tan largo, pero la verdad es que no me ha resultado pesado J Una que vez que llegamos aquí dejamos las maletas en la residencia y salimos a dar  una vuelta y sentir el famoso espíritu neoyorquino paseando por 5th Avenue, Broadway, Time Square y visitamos los famosos almacenes Macy’s. Después de una larga caminata cenamos el típico perrito caliente y nos vinimos a la residencia para darnos una buena ducha y coger fuerzas para mañana. Os dejo con unas cuantas fotos de mis primeras impresiones por NY, estad atentos a mañana que habrá más y mejores fotos :D

Surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the surprise: tomorrow starts my trip to New York!!! :D Yes, one of my big dreams tomorrow will come true!!! Now I don´t have too much time because I have to finish my luggage so tomorrow I’ll write you from New York and I’ll tell my first hours in Manhattan, I’m so excited!!!

Esta es la gran sorpresa: mañana empieza mi viaje a¡¡¡ Nueva York!!! :D Sí, uno de mis grandes sueños mañana ¡¡¡se hará realidad!!! Ahora no tengo mucho tiempo para contaros porque tengo que terminar mi equipaje así que mañana os escribiré desde allí y os contaré mis primeras horas en Manhattan, ¡¡ qué emoción por favor!!! jjajjaja

These photos are from my last night in Portugal that we dediced to take them at our room. I was wearing a navy outfit: stripped dress with golden sets on the shoulders :) and this is the first time I showed you the Swarovski bracelet, do you like it? Tomorrow I'll reveal you a supersurprise I can´t wait for it!!

¡¡Hola chicos!! Estas fotos son de mi última noche en Portugal que decidimos hacerlas en nuestra habitación. Como podéis ver llevaba un conjunto marinero: un vestido de rayas con unos detalles dorados en los hombros :) y también es la primera vez que os enseñó esta preciosidad de pulsera de SWarosvki,¿os gusta? Mañana os revelaré una supersorpresa que estoy deseando que de que llegue, así que ¡¡estad atentos!! ;)

Évora

Evora was our last visit before coming back to Spain, there we saw:

-      Diana’s Temple

-      We walked around the typical narrow streets

-      We saw the Saint Francisco’s church

-      Evora cathedral and museum

We hadn’t got too much time so we couldn’t visit others interesting places like Roman baths, the public gardens… And with these pictures finished my trip to Portugal, a really desired trip that hasn’t disappointed us :D

Évora fue nuestra última visita antes de regresar a España, es una ciudad antigua en la que vimos:

-      El templo de Diana

-      Dimos un paseo por sus estrechas y típicas calles

-      Vimos la Iglesia de San Francisco

-      Catedral de Évora

-      Museo de Évora

Y no nos quedo más tiempo así que no pudimos visitar otras cosas como las Termas romanas, el jardín público… Y con estas fotos queda finalizado mi viaje a Portugal, un viaje muy deseado y del que nos volvimos a España con muy buen sabor :)
